1. Weekly Recap: Early Edition:

So day 6 and I have stuck to the daily points and no extra or activity used! I have eaten more Honey Crisp apples than I should have – but none the less I am on point.

Decided to revamp the workouts this week and started Tuesday, switching from pulleys to dumbbells. I changed the 10 min elliptical / 20 treadmill to 30 treadmill at the beginning and end of the workout. I originally thought the weight part was off because I was not nearly as exhausted afterwards as I had been with the pulleys…then came the soreness last night and today. Needless to say I must have been doing something right. Cardio surprised me because I go so much faster on the elliptical, I questioned whether I could get 2 miles in each segment…I DID! 2.02 miles the first go around and 2 flat the second. Comparing to the last 2 weeks numbers with mixed cardio I was more than happy with it.

Tonight will be the second workout of the week and another 17 activity points, rounding out the week with 34. So given the fact for the past month I have been averaging 70 + activity points each week and eating 50 – 75% of them…I’m hoping this “shock to the system” or “reboot” if you will is what I needed.

After spending $20.00 on 12 apples Tuesday, I am quickly remembering why our grocery bill has skyrocketed since starting all of this…ugh need to live on a farm and grow produce lol.

Tomorrow’s the BDay, family celebrations not planned until Saturday & Sunday, so other than lunch out tomorrow hopefully nothing to offset my work this week towards a substantial loss.  I am hoping to settle back into a grove with the eating and start being creative again on meals, changing it up but keeping it low and filling.

All in all good week and provided I don’t go off the reservation in the next 24 hours, I would say another “W” in the win column ; )
